Resident Sessions 2026

Artistic research in dialogue

The DIVA residents of 2026, Empar Juanes (Spain), Felicia Mülbaier (Germany) and Zhipeng Wang (China), share their research and working process with the public during this event. Not a classic artist talk, but a conversation focused on the making process. The residents offer an insight into their practice and interests and tell you how they work. They show experiments, prototypes, material research and interim results. The focus is not on the finished product, but on the process.

The Resident Sessions take the form of a conversation. There is room for questions, feedback and exchange with the public. An opportunity not only to discover the work of the three makers, but also to look in on their artistic research as it develops.

This edition takes place exceptionally in the DIVA atelier in the Kaasstraat, and not in the museum itself. The Resident Sessions are held in English.

Every year, the DIVA museum offers artists the space to work and experiment within the Artists in Residence programme. Discover the DIVA Artists in Residence programme.
